Russian-Arab Business Council is an organization that develops trade and economic relations between Russia and the Arab countries and provides assistance in establishing business contacts between businessmen. RABC is based in Moscow, Russian Federation.
The Agreement to found RABC was signed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture of Arab States in 2002.
The Russian-Arab Business Council consists of the Russian and Arab parts, each part has its Co-Chairman. The founder of the Russian part is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Russian Federation headed by its President, H.E. Yevgeny Primakov who has played a vital role in creation of RABC.

The main activities of the Russian-Arab Business Council are as follows:
Creation of bilateral business councils
Organization of meetings, sessions, business forums, and round tables in Russia and the Arab countries
Establishing direct contacts between Russian and Arab business structures
Information processing and analysis
The Russian-Arab Business Council holds Joint Sessions of its Russian and Arab parts two times a year in order to discuss current issues of cooperation and its development. These sessions are held in succession in Russia and Arab countries. RABC has also taken part in the organization of dozens of international events, including forums, meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, with the participation of leading Russian and Arab businessmen.
During its existence RABC has contributed to solving a number of economic issues in the relations between Russia and a number of Arab states, as well as to the development in the fields of energy, communications, transport, construction, banking and tourism.
One of the key vectors of RABC activity is the creation of bilateral councils with the Arab countries, which aim at development of business relations between companies, their coordination, and support for implementation of certain cooperation projects.
As of today the Russian-Arab Business Council has signed 15 agreements on the creation of bilateral councils with Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Sudan, UAE, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.
